First day of work recap. So I left my house at 6:32 AM. This gives me 28 minutes to arrive at work, without being late...
Never in my whole life have I been stopped at like every right light on my route to work. Ok ok, one time, when i had some bad dairy and I needed to get to the closest commode...
Ok, so like every single red light, i think i stopped. It was pretty maddening. I was trying to pray on the way to work, but mostly it was like...
"God, where were we?, oh yeah, Lord, i just need your help in this new ... DARN! Another red light??? , how is this possible? .....God take me now!, take me!"
So i could not get into my "Prayer Groove".
Then this was the kicker. I got stuck behind an 18 wheeler in a residential zone.
I was really into my "Angst Groove" now. But somehow, by the grace of God, i arrived at work at 6:59 am. hehehe
Work was pretty slow, and I had a good time
My dad's words "Everyday, I will teach you one more thing that I do" So in about 40 working days, i may know the Chon secret for wholesaling success. hehehehe
I think all our customers wait around the corner then when they get to about 7 or 8 in a group, they all drive up together. Its like feast or famine. We get madd busy for like 1 hour, then slow again. Madd busy, then slow.
Note to self work on getting customers to space themselves out :)
Work ended without incident.
Day 1. A moderate success.
God helped me big time. I almost fell asleep on top of a pallette of clorox boxes, but i was saved before i fell into unconscienceness... (spelling?) yeah
so... thanks for your prayers. as you know.. I may not have prayed for you today.. heheheh but tonight, i will.

Day 2 in Las Vegas. The first thing that woke me up was the phone. Thought: “I should have not told my mom how to call our room” GAH
It’s 7 am. We’re on vacation woman! But she wants to go eat breakfast. Now this was not my first choice, but the breakfast was amazing!
Meal Report 8 Paris Buffet. Let me just say a couple words! “C’est Magnifique” Amazing
It was quite possibly THE BEST breakfast buffet I’ve ever had. Compared to that cheapass free continental breakfast… it was like riding a big wheel tricycle, and upgrading to a S-Fie-hunned For those not in the know… that’s a Mercedez Benz S500. Aight. I had crepes, hash browns, eggs, ONE complaint, the juice was terrible. HORRIBLE! Watered down McD’s OJ. So… what else. Very good fruit.
Then in the afternoon, we just chilled. My parents we tourism-ed out. Hehehe Which was good for me. I decided I would mo-sey on down to the swimming pool. It was not a swimming pool bc people were not swimming. More like loafing, posturing, struttin… but not swimming.
But this mean yellow swimming machine decided he would carve a path thru the PDA couples and teens striving for attention and swim some laps. (sting of embarrassment at CCFC summer retreat still burns strong within me) I did some laps. It was actually good, bc the pects were sagging a bit. We chilled some more. Watched a DVD on the laptop. I was pretty happy
Then for dinner, since we got shut out bc of the long lines at bellagio, we decided to go over early to the bellagio for the dinner buffet. Wow, that was a good decision.
Before we went over, me, my sister and my mom decided we would try our luck at the 5 dollah black jack tables at a casino which shall remain nameless, because it was so ghetto.
Good decision. We found a good table. With our new 50% strategy. I went in like a prize fighter, picked a seat, tossed down some 20’s and decided I wouldn’t let the casinos win today. Hehehe
I hit 90 dollars and got up. Cashed out. With my good luck charm (noona) and my pops., we walked out of the casino triumphant.
Feeling like champs, we got over the bellagio. During that time, my mom was making friends with the silver haired ladies at the nickel slots.hehehe
We had about 30 mins before the doors of the buffet opened. So we looked at each other, and decided to press our luck at the 10 dollar tables. Oh yeah, with the high rollers.
We put down 60 bucks again. And went up 15 bucks. Then we stopped, bc now.. we were up 75% from the original 60 bucks. With that 45 dollars we won. We were happy and ready to eat at bellagio buffet.
Meal Report 9 This was awesome Duck, Chicken, sea bass, salmon, shrimp, king crab, buffalo, beef, pork. I went a little overboard on the meats, but it was really really tasty I don’t remember conversing with my parents, bc all I could do was come up for air, between swallows.
Quick note, I deducted 1 dollar tip from our waiter, bc he was too talkative. Look guy! Refill my coke, take my crab shells and leave me in peace. He was blah blah blah, I have a huge headache, and ooh whats that you’re eating? I was like … duh! You work here sucka.
So… Besides a chatty waiter… it was the best buffet of the trip. THUS FAR.. wait for my todai review.. hehehe
Then after dinner. This is where I messed up. I decided I would try my luck again. With the 45 dollars we won. BIG MISTAKE. I had gone to the well too many times.
Lost the 45 bucks. Then the original 60.
Now, at bally’s 10 dollar tables… I lost 6 straight hands. 6 in a row. WOW, that was nasty. And I was reminded.. the house always wins. I almost cried. Hehehe
More updates later, Sambo
